This clearly is the season of biopics. Film industries across the country have been busy churning out a handful of biopics based on famous personalities. Given his timeless achievements in the world of film music, a biopic on legendary music composer Ilayaraja seems richly deserving.
And, Ilayaraja himself has said that he is ready to act in his own biopic if such proposal arrives. At a recently held musical event at IIT-Madras, Ilayaraja said that reenacting his life for the silver screen is an easy job. The Padma Vibhushan awardee also revealed that he is currently penning his autobiography and that the book will be ready for publication soon.
