Yevam, starring Chandini Chowdhary in the lead role hit the screens on June 14. Interestingly, Chandini’s other film, Music Shop Murthy, was also released on the same date, but both movies tanked at the box office. Prakash Dantuluri is the director of Yevam. Vasistha Simha played the villain.
The murder mystery is all set to make its digital debut. Telugu streaming platform Aha has the post-theatrical rights of Yevam and the latest update reveals that the film will be available for streaming from 12 PM tomorrow (July 25). There is good demand for murder mysteries on OTT, and hence, Yevam is expected to do well in the digital space.
Yevam highlights the issue of objectification of women, and it celebrates their strength. Produced by Navadeep and Pavan Goparaju, the film’s music was composed by Keertana Sesh and Neelesh Mandalapu. Bharat Raj and Ashu Reddy played pivotal roles.
