The Kerala Story, headlined by Adah Sharma, had a good buzz even before its release due to its controversial content. Irrespective of the poor reviews, the movie kept the cash registers ringing right from its day one. Sudipto Sen directed this film.
The movie till now has collected a nett of 187 crores at the domestic box office. On its third Saturday, the movie collected an impressive 9 crores nett. Today the movie might rake in double-digit collections, which would take the film near the 200 crore mark. Considering no big releases in the near future, the movie should be targeting a 250 crore finish.
Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, Siddhi Idnani, Devadarshini, and Vijay Krishna played other vital roles. Viresh Sreevalsa and Bishakh Jyoti composed the tunes.
