Bollywood star actor Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu failed to live up to its expectations at the box office. After its debacle, Akshay announced that he is making his Marathi debut with Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat.
Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the movie will showcase Akshay Kumar in the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Today, the actor announced that he commenced the shoot of the film. The first schedule began today in Mumbai.
Confirmed to release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil also, the Marathi biggie is being produced by Vaseem Quereshi. Jay Dudhane, Utkarsha Shinde, Vishal Nikam, Virat Madke and others are to play key roles in this period drama, scheduled to release on Diwali 2023.
