After months of silence, filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi has finally opened up about Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit, just two days ahead of its theatrical release. The period action drama, starring Pawan Kalyan and Nidhhi Agerwal, premieres tomorrow with global night shows.
Krish, who was the original director of the film, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message, calling the project “one of my most passionate battles” and “a culmination of years of fire and faith.”
Praising Pawan Kalyan, Krish described him as “an extraordinary force blessed by something far greater,” and added, “There’s a fire in him that no camera can fully capture… he gave the film its spine, its soul, and its storm.”
He also credited producer A.M. Ratnam as the film’s backbone, stating, “His ability to see big, to hold the chaos, and to build with faith is rare,” and acknowledged his unwavering strength in keeping the vision alive.
Krish described the film as more than a directorial effort — for him, it was a journey into “forgotten history, uncomfortable truths, and cinema that entertains and enlightens at the same time.”
However, fans quickly noticed that Krish made no mention of Jyothi Krisna, who took over the project after Krish exited. This omission has sparked speculation and curiosity as the post continues to go viral online.
Also featuring Bobby Deol, Nassar, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, and Sathyaraj, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is produced by A. Dayakar Rao with music composed by MM Keeravaani. The film will release in multiple languages across India and abroad.
