Young hero Kiran Abbavaram’s Diwali festive entertainer, KA, is going great guns at the box office worldwide. Also starring Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Ram in lead roles, the film amassed a cool Rs 13.10 crore gross worldwide in two days. This is a huge number for a film of this scale and cast, and that too with a limited release.
Despite the decent pre-release buzz, KA could only manage a handful of screens in the twin Telugu states for the first two days, as a large number of screens were allotted for Amaran and Lucky Baskhar. And here comes the much-needed boost for KA. The latest updates reveal that as many as 186 new screens have been added for the movie in the Andhra, Ceded, and Nizam regions. The film’s revenue will witness a good hike over the weekend with the addition of extra screens.
KA is directed by Sujith and Sandeep and produced under the Srichakraas Entertainments banner. Popular Tamil music director Sam CS composed the music for this intriguing rural thriller. The makers will be announcing the film’s sequel in a week.
