The much-anticipated Telugu film Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Bhagyashri Borse, released in cinemas yesterday to a fairly positive response. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, known for Jersey, the film also features Satya Dev in a significant role.
In the last 24 hours, Kingdom recorded impressive advance bookings on BookMyShow alone, with over 2.21 lakh tickets sold. This marks a strong start at the box office. With the advantage of an extended weekend, the film is well positioned to post solid collections, provided the word of mouth remains favourable.
The team celebrated the film’s early success with a meet held last evening. During the gathering, they confirmed that a sequel is in the works and will begin once Vijay Deverakonda completes his current lineup of projects. Anirudh Ravichander’s music adds emotional resonance and elevates the overall experience.
