Karthi is all excited about his upcoming film Khakee, which, he says, is going to a realistic cop drama. Directed by H Vinoth, the film also stars Rakul in the lead role and it’s her first film with Karthi.
In a recent promotional interview when Karthi was asked if Khakee is going to be on the lines of Singham series, he said, “The action and conversations in Khakee have been treated very realistically. Each cop drama requires a different treatment and there is no comparison with the Singham series.”
The film has been shot extensively in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and few other locations in North India. Ghibran has scored the music. The film is slated for release on November 17.
