Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, the powerful historical courtroom drama starring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan, recently made its digital debut on Jio Hotstar after a decent theatrical run.

The Hindi version of the film has been well-received on OTT. Viewers are praising its compelling narrative, intense courtroom moments, and solid performances from the lead cast. The film is clearly finding love among home audiences. However, there’s a disappointing gap that has left a section of fans unhappy.

Despite releasing in Telugu during its theatrical run, Kesari Chapter 2 arrived on OTT without a Telugu dubbed version. This has understandably upset Telugu-speaking viewers who were eager to watch the film in their language.

What adds to the frustration is the silence from Jio Hotstar – there’s been no official word on whether the Telugu version will be added later. It’s also unclear if another platform has secured its digital rights. For now, while the Hindi version continues to make waves, Telugu audiences are left waiting—and hoping.

The film also stars Ananya Panday, Regina Cassandra, and Simon Paisley Day in important roles. It has been jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films.
