Tollywood director Gopichand Malineni, who recently ventured into Bollywood with Jaat starring Sunny Deol, is currently celebrating the movie’s success. With Jaat still performing well in theatres across India, the director has confirmed that a sequel, Jaat 2, is officially in the works.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Gopichand revealed that his next film will reunite him with Nandamuri Balakrishna after their successful collaboration on Veera Simha Reddy. He mentioned that the script for this new project is currently under development and that the film will be officially launched on NBK’s birthday, June 10, 2025.
Fans of Balakrishna are eagerly awaiting the details of this upcoming film, particularly the genre and the powerful role Balayya is expected to play.
Meanwhile, Gopichand confirmed that the script work for Jaat 2 is already underway. The director and his team are taking audience feedback into account as they plan the sequel, aiming for an even bigger impact than the first film.
