Young hero Sundeep Kishan’s long-delayed Tamil film, Maayavan, released a couple of weeks ago and received critical acclaim. This path-breaking sci-fi thriller’s Telugu version, Project Z, opened in cinemas today without much pre-release buzz.
In an unexpected move, Sundeep took to Twitter and said, “Request everyone to pls wait and watch #Maayavan legally on @AmazonVideoIN in the last week of January…with subtitles.” He went on to say, “It’s an illegal print that was screened today..without my dubbing/CG/clearance from the Prod..A Police complaint is being lodged as we speak.”
We will have to wait for a few more days to see how this issue unfolds. Project Z has Lavanya Tripathi as its leading lady. Noted Tamil producer CV Kumar turned director with this movie.
