The teaser for Mallesham and 8 A.M. Metro director Raj R’s upcoming movie, 23, was launched earlier today. Starring young actors Teja and Tanmayee in lead roles, the film is a social drama, and it is being distributed by Rana Daggubati’s production house Spirit Media.
Going by 23’s teaser, the film’s story is inspired by true tragic mass killings that shook the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh – the 1991 Tsunduru massacre, the 1993 Chilakaluripet bus burning incident, and the 1997 Jubilee Hills car bomb blast. The film explores the complexities of justice, the emotional and societal aftermath of such tragedies, and the stark realities of violence that have shaped history. The impressive teaser promises a hard-hitting and gritty social drama in cinemas.
23 is produced by Studio 99. Popular character artistes Jhansi and Pawon Ramesh, comedian Thagubothu Ramesh, and young actor Praneeth will be seen in crucial roles in the movie. Mark K Robin has scored the film’s soundtrack. The makers will announce the film’s release date soon.
