IFFI plans special tribute to Telugu icon ANR – Deets inside

The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is set to take place from November 20-28, 2024, in Panaji, Goa. From Tollywood, Kalki 2898 AD and 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu have been selected for screening at the festival.

Additionally, another Telugu classic, Devadasu (1953), starring the late legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao, has been chosen to be screened as a tribute to the actor.

The restored version of Devadasu will be shown alongside Raj Kapoor’s Awara, Tapan Sinha’s Harmonium, and Mohammed Rafi’s Hum Dono.

These four films have been selected to celebrate the centenary of these iconic figures in Indian cinema. More exciting details will be revealed soon.
