The teaser of Mithra Mandali, a quirky new Telugu film featuring Priyadarshi, Vishnu Oi, Rag Mayur, and Prasad Behara in lead roles, was launched today to a warm reception. Directed by Vijayendar S, the film also marks the much-awaited Telugu debut of social media sensation and actress Niharika NM.
The event saw veteran producer Allu Aravind grace the occasion as the chief guest. In a light-hearted moment during his speech, Allu Aravind revealed how Niharika was picked for the role. “When Vasu (Bunny Vas) showed me pictures of potential heroines, I instantly chose Niharika. I’ve been following her on Instagram for a long time,” he said with a smile.
He further joked that he had to use a fake ID to check her posts to avoid being trolled online, adding, “She’s fast and popular.”
Backed by Kalyan Manthina, Bhanu Pratapa, and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala under Sapta Aswa Media Works and Vyra Entertainments, the film is presented by Bunny Vas under BV Works. Music is composed by RR Dhruvan. The release date will be announced soon.
