Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic comedy entertainer, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, is now playing in theatres. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame.
According to trade reports, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari collected around Rs. 10 crores nett on the opening day, which is a respectable number. The film capitalized on the Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti holiday and earned a decent opening. Going forward, the rom-com entertainer should post steady collections to emerge successful.
The clash with Kantara: Chapter 1 affected the prospects of Varun Dhawan’s film to some extent. Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra played other crucial roles. Karan Johar of Dharma Productions, in association with Mentor Disciple Entertainment, produced this flick.
