Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who was recently announced as part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit starring Prabhas in the lead, is currently busy shooting for Ramayana. The high-budget mythological epic, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, will feature Vivek as Vibhishana.

According to reports, the actor has taken a remarkable decision — he has decided to donate his entire remuneration from Ramayana to children battling cancer, choosing not to keep a single rupee for himself. “I told Namit that I don’t want a penny for this,” Vivek shared, describing Ramayana as India’s answer to Hollywood epics.

The 49-year-old actor praised the film’s story, vision, and execution, expressing deep admiration for its scale and ambition. Fans have been lauding him for his noble gesture and wishing him the very best for his role.

The magnum opus stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, and several others. With music composed by A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer, the film is being produced on a massive budget of over Rs. 4000 crore. It is backed by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, and Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment. The first part of Ramayana is slated for a theatrical release on Diwali 2026.
