Following the debacle of his previous movie, Agent, actor Akhil Akkineni has taken a long break before commencing Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’s director Murali Kishore Abburu’s project. The film is tentatively titled Lenin, and an action-packed schedule is currently underway in Hyderabad. Akhil’s home banner, Annapurna Studios, is bankrolling the project.
As per the latest buzz, Akhil has okayed yet another project. Apparently, the charming young actor has given his nod to the script narrated by a debutant named Nandu, who worked as a co-writer on Sree Vishnu’s Samajavaragamana.
Apparently, this as-yet-untitled film will be an out-and-out entertainer, and if things fall in place as expected, the shooting will commence by this year’s end. Noted producer Srinivasa Chitturi will bankroll the project. An official announcement is awaited in this regard.
Apart from these two movies, Akhil has also okayed another project. To be directed by debutant Anil, the film is touted as a high-budget period action drama, and it will be produced under the UV Creations banner. Stay tuned for more updates on Akhil’s future projects.
