It’s well known that popular director Harish Shankar is all set to remake the 2014 cult Tamil gangster drama, Jigarthanda, in Telugu. Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta will be bankrolling this exciting project under 14 Reels Plus banner.
According to the latest updates, Jigarthanda’s Telugu version will be launched in January. Although there has been no official announcement, buzz is that Varun Tej will be reprising Bobby Simha’s villainous role in the remake. On the other hand, the actor who will play Siddharth’s role is yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more updates.
