In one of his latest interviews, the director has revealed that he first approached hero Gopichand for the role but he rejected the film citing date issues, and then he approached Rana who okayed the film.
Now that the film has received a solid buzz in the media, many are saying that Gopichand lost a bumper offer of getting a hit film under his belt.
