Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly opened to packed houses all over. The gangster action drama directed by Adhik Ravichandran received positive reviews for the Tamil version, and the biggie took a good opening worldwide. Good Bad Ugly is now officially Ajith’s highest day-one grosser in Tamil Nadu.
The biggie collected close to Rs. 31 crores gross in the home market, and the same has been reported by the distributor. Overall, Good Bad Ugly is the fourth biggest opener in Tamil Nadu behind Beast, Leo, and Sarkaar. Before the release, many expected the film to shatter existing opening records in Tamil Nadu, but the Ajith starrer fell short of becoming the all-time opener.
Trisha played the female lead. Leading Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolled by Good Bad Ugly. GV Prakash Kumar composed the tunes. Prabhu, Prasanna, Arjun Das, Sunil, Priya Prakash Varrier, Simran, Rahul Dev, and Yogi Babu essayed vital roles.
