According to the latest reports in Tamil media circles, the members of Tamil film artiste’s association (Nadigar Sangam) and Tamil Film Producer’s Council (TFPC) are discussing plans to float new TV channels.
The latest development is to ensure both the associations get exclusive satellite rights over Tamil movies, music and all film related events. Apparently, both the film bodies may launch dedicated TV channels named Cinema Channel, Music Channel and Cinema Function Channel.
More details regarding the launch date of these channels are awaited.
