Today, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s yesteryear blockbuster Thammudu completes its 16th anniversary. Enthusiastic Pawan’s fans are celebrating this memorable occasion by trending the film on social media and even sharing snippets and trivia about the film. Thammudu was a game changer in Pawan Kalyan’s career as it gave him an unbeatable mass star image and cemented his position among the youths.
Having a kick boxing backdrop, the film had several daredevil stuntsperformed by Pawan that showcased his expertise in martial arts. The film smashed most of the existing records those days and made Pawan a bankable star at the box-office.
Directed by PA Arun Prasad, Thammudu had Bollywood actresses Preeti Jhangiani and Aditi Govitrikar and the film was produced by senior producer Burugupalli Sivarama Krishna.
