Expectations on Chiyaan Vikram’s period rural drama, Thangalaan, touched the sky ever since the raw and rustic teaser was launched in April. Vikram’s striking getup in this Pa Ranjith directorial came across as a big surprise for fans. The National Award-winning actor will appear in two different getups in the movie.
Thangalaan’s unit had recently wrapped up a key schedule featuring the film’s principal cast in Chennai. The next and final schedule will take place in Madurai from Wednesday. And the latest updates reveal that Thangalaan will also release in 3D format. It’ll be interesting to witness how Pa Ranjith has visualized this social drama in 3D. The film will also have solid visual effects, and the VFX work will commence from July.
Thangalaan also features acclaimed Malayalam actress Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles. The KE Gnanavel Raja production will be released in early 2024. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer.
