Mollywood heart-throb Dulquer Salmaan impressed Telugu movie lovers with his brilliant performance as Gemini Ganesan in Mahanati. Dulquer even dubbed in Telugu for his role. And recently, the talented actor scored a surprise hit with the Ritu Varma-starrer romantic con thriller, Kanulu Kanulanu Dochaayante.
Buoyed by the way his Telugu fans are receiving his films, Dulquer seems to have decided to make a comeback in Tollywood with a straight Telugu film. Apparently, the actor has been in talks with Padi Padi Leche Manasu director Hanu Raghavapudi and discussed various stories, before finally okaying a story.
