Dull weekend gives advantage to Taxiwaala

Released on November 17 amid a lot of hardships due to piracy, Vijay Deverakonda’s Taxiwaala has turned out to be a huge hit at the box-offices worldwide. The film has so far collected a worldwide gross of 25 crores, according to the makers.

Taxiwaala is all set to march into its 2nd week. But thanks to the less competition from the weekend releases, Taxiwaala gets an added advantage. Four low budget movies – Sharabha, 24 Kisses, LAW and Rangu, are hitting screens this weekend. However, the buzz around these movies is pretty low and this will in turn help Taxiwaala to register even better collections over the weekend.

Taxiwaala will look to collect as much as possible, before Rajinikanth’s 2.0 storms the screens across the globe on November 29.
