Young debutants Anand Deverakonda and Shivathmika Rajasekhar’s period romantic drama, Dorasaani, completed its censor formalities this evening. The CBFC has cleared the movie with a UA certificate. The film is all set to hit theaters on July 12.
Dorasaani is set in the Telangana Zamindari backdrop. The film is a teenage love story and it showcases the deep-rooted social differences between the upper and lower castes. There has been a decent amount of curiosity about how Anand and Shivathmika will perform on their debut.
Mahendra has directed Dorasani and Yash Rangineni and Madhura Sreedhar produced the movie. Suresh Babu is presenting the film.
