Writer-director Vimal Krishna made a solid debut with the 2022 comedy entertainer DJ Tillu. The film emerged as a smash hit, and the Tillu character became household name in the Telugu states. Now, after a brief hiatus, Vimal Krishna is back to entertain with another eccentric character which was introduced in a truly unexpected style.
His upcoming project is being produced by Chilaka Productions, marking the banner’s fourth venture following films like Aa Okkati Adakku. The movie is being backed by passionate producers Rajiv Chilaka, Rajesh Jagtiani, Hirachand Dand. Rag Mayur and Merin Philip play the lead roles.
On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, the makers launched the title and first look poster. Titled Anumanapakshi, the name itself hints at the quirky nature of the protagonist. The first look poster contains a vibrant comic book aesthetic, filled with colorful thought bubbles posing offbeat and humorous questions, neatly capturing the film’s eccentric tone.
The playful visuals in the lively motion poster are further elevated by Sri Charan Pakala’s energetic score, setting the stage for a youthful, fun-filled entertainer. Prince Cecil, Anannayaa, Charith play key roles in this out-and-out entertainer. Sunil Kumar Nama handles the cinematography, while JK Murthy serves as the art director. Editing is handled by Abhinav Kunapareddy. The movie will be released soon in theatres.
