Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3, the third installment in the super hit cop action entertainer franchise, released yesterday. Directed by Prabhudeva, the film has Sonakshi Sinha playing the female lead.
Dabangg 3 received pretty underwhelming reviews yesterday. And this has shown a deep impact on the film’s opening collections as well. As per the latest updates, Dabangg 3’s Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions together collected an all-India day one nett of just about Rs 25 crore.
This is a disappointing start for a Salman-starrer. We will have to see if the film manages to utilize Salman’s star power and the Christmas holidays to post some decent numbers over the weekend.
