Producers Dil Raju and Shirish, under Sri Venkateswara Creations, have announced their 60th film, DeThadi, featuring Ashish in the lead. Directed by debutant Aditya Rao Gangasani, the film is set in the colorful streets of Hyderabad and promises a mix of mass entertainment and culturally rich storytelling.
Released on Ashish’s birthday, the first look showcases him in a vibrant Hyderabadi street drummer avatar. Dressed in a quirky outfit with weekday-printed jeans, he’s seen energetically beating a drum, one stick held between his teeth. The backdrop, filled with dancers and celebration, perfectly captures the film’s spirited vibe.
DeThadi aims to present fresh emotional and cultural layers rarely seen in Indian cinema. Ashish, who underwent a complete mass makeover, will be speaking in authentic Hyderabadi slang, adding a local flavor to the film’s narrative.
With a director who has a strong musical background, the film’s soundtrack is expected to play a key role in storytelling. Production begins soon, setting the tone for a vibrant and immersive cinematic experience.
