Natural Star Nani’s high-voltage crime thriller HIT 3 has hit the big screens today. The movie, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, is the third installment in the HIT franchise. After Mad Square, no other Telugu film succeeded in drawing audiences to theatres. At a time when exhibitors and distributors are going through a tough time, HIT 3 openings gave them a ray of hope.
This violent entertainer, headed by Nani, opened to packed houses all over. Dil Raju, who distributed the film in Nizam, interacted with the media a few hours ago. He said, “HIT 3 has provided a huge sigh of relief for Tollywood. Many films were released this Summer, but people didn’t show up. Many single screens are on the verge of closing temporarily. In such a tense situation, HIT 3 bookings instilled confidence in us.”
The ace producer added, “The talk is ultra-positive everywhere, and especially people are enjoying the last 30-minute action part. The openings are tremendous. HIT 3 is Nani’s highest opener in North America. We expect the same to happen in Telangana, too. I thank Nani for delivering a grand success both as a producer and actor.
