Ranveer Singh’s latest spy action thriller, Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, is wreaking havoc at the box office. After Chhaava and Saiyaara, Bollywood has delivered yet another monstrous hit this year with Dhurandhar. The film’s trending clearly shows how solid content can create a massive explosion at the ticket windows.
The film’s first Monday numbers stood at 85% of its opening day, and Tuesday’s collections have comfortably surpassed Monday’s. On Tuesday alone, Dhurandhar collected a sensational Rs. 28.6 crores nett, matching its day-one numbers (Rs. 28.6 crores nett).
Generally, most Bollywood films opt for Tuesday offers (lower ticket prices), but the makers of Dhurandhar continued with the blockbuster pricing as they believed the content alone would bring in more audiences, and their decision resulted in a sharp growth.
Today, the movie is expected to stay on par with Tuesday or even surpass it, going by BookMyShow trends. So far, Dhurandhar has amassed around Rs. 160 crores nett in India, and is on track to enter the Rs. 300 crores nett club by this weekend.
The film’s phenomenal run has lifted the spirits of the industry. Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, and Madhavan played key roles. Dhurandhar: Part 2 is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026.
