Dhanush is known to pick good subjects in his career. His latest film Thiru has hit the screens yesterday all over the south industries with a low buzz.
But as the word of mouth is good for the film, the occupancy increased and the film made 8 crores gross in Tamil Nadu on day one. Some screens are being added for this film as well.
Thiru has Raashi Khanna and Nithya Menon in lead roles. The Telugu version was also released yesterday and went unnoticed due to the lack of promotions.
