It is already known that Dhanush, is going to join the rare list of Indian actors to make their debut in Hollywood. Dhanush revealed on Twitter that the movie he has signed has been officially titled The Fakir.
“Elated to sign my first Hollywood film @The-Fakir,directed by Marjane Satrapi. A big thank you to all for the warm wishes keeps pushing me!” he tweeted. He is cast opposite Uma Thurman of Kill Bill fame and Alexandra Daddario of True Detective fame.
Dhanush will play an Indian magician named Aja, who is sent to Paris on a clandestine mission by his mother. The film is based on a French best-seller by the same name, written by Romain Puértolas.
