However, a soon-to-be-released Telugu film depicts a love story set against the backdrop of caste discrimination. The film in discussion is Dhandoraa, a gripping socio-satirical drama set in rural Telangana. The first glimpse was released today under the name “First Beat.” The glimpse starts with a quote that says a person’s life from birth to death is determined by caste.

Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments, who bankrolled the National Award-winning film Colour Photo and the comedy entertainer Bedurulanka 2012, is backing Dhandoora.
The film features a talented cast, including Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, and Anusha. Muralikanth is the director, and Mark K Robin composes the music.
