Mission: Impossible: The Final Reckoning, the grand finale of Hollywood’s iconic spy franchise, stormed into Indian cinemas yesterday and opened to glowing reviews. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and led by the ever-daring Tom Cruise, the film is already making waves at the Indian box office.
On its opening day, the action-packed thriller raked in over Rs. 17 crore in India — marking the biggest Day 1 collection for any Mission: Impossible film in the country and the highest opening for a Hollywood release in 2025 so far. With no major Indian films to compete with, the film is expected to enjoy a strong theatrical run.
The ensemble cast includes Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, Angela Bassett, and Esai Morales in key roles. Interestingly, Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie have also produced the film, while Max Aruj and Alfie Godfrey handled the music.
