Officials seize watches worth 5 crores from Indian cricketer?

Yes, you heard that right. Hardik Pandya, the stylish Indian all-rounder was stopped at the Mumbai airport by the customs officials yesterday night.

The news is that Hardik had brought wristwatches worth 5 crores back to India from Dubai. As he failed to submit the proper documents and custom-related details, both the watches were seized.

However, Hardik has cleared the report and said “I had voluntarily declared all the items that I’d lawfully purchased from Dubai and was ready to pay whatever duties that needed to be paid. As a matter of fact, the customs department had asked for all purchase documents which were submitted; however customs is doing the proper valuation for duty which I’ve already confirmed to pay,”

Even in the past, Hardik has got into trouble from the customs department for bringing costly stuff from abroad. He is known to lead a swanky life and has two Lamborghini’s in his car collection as well.
