Lokesh Kanagaraj, one of South India’s most talented directors, has delivered several blockbusters over the years. He’s currently busy with his much-anticipated film Coolie, starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead. The film is set to hit the big screens on August 14, 2025.
Earlier today, Lokesh took to social media to announce that he’ll be going off the grid until Coolie promotions kick off. He won’t be active on any of his platforms during this time – a bit of a letdown for fans eagerly waiting for updates.
Coolie boasts a star-studded cast featuring Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, and Monisha Blessy. The film is backed by Sun Pictures, with music composed by the ever-energetic Anirudh Ravichander.
