Controversial and banned film secures digital debut

The controversial Urdu film Joyland, which was banned in Pakistan, had its release in India on March 10, 2023. Now, the feature debut of Saim Sadiq is set for a digital release in India.

BookMyShow, a popular ticket-selling platform, announced that this Oscar-nominated movie will be available to stream on its platform STREAM starting tomorrow. Viewers will need to pay a rental fee of Rs. 179 to watch the film, which will be streamed with English subtitles.

Joyland features a talented cast including Ali Junejo, Rasti Farooq, Alina Khan, Sarwat Gilani, and Salmaan Peerzada. The film also has the music composed by Abdullah Siddiqui. Stay tuned for more interesting updates on OTT platforms.
