Christopher Nolan is a name that doesn’t need any introduction. He has made many path-breaking movies in the past. Now he is coming up with a film titled Oppenheimer. The teaser, which was released a few months back, blew away the minds of many. Oppenheimer is a biographical film on Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb.

Peaky Blinders fame Cillian Murphy is playing the lead role. A few reports now claim that the film’s runtime will be around three hours. The director’s Interstellar was about 2 hours and 50 minutes long, and if these reports are anything to go by, Oppenheimer would be the longest movie in Nolan’s career.

The film is based on the book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. Oppenheimer will release in theatres worldwide on July 21, 2023, in IMAX, 70MM, and 35MM film formats. It was exclusively shot with IMAX film cameras. The movie is produced together by Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven.
