Fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi are more excited about the actor’s collaboration with successful director Anil Ravipudi. The movie, tentatively titled Mega157, was launched recently. The shooting will kickstart very soon. Today, the makers officially confirmed that star heroine Nayanthara is playing the leading lady.
Not just his films, but Anil Ravipudi’s announcement videos and promotions will also be equally entertaining. Fresh off the success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, the director once again brought his signature touch of fun and originality to Mega157 as he came up with an entertaining video to introduce Nayanthara as the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi.
The video features Nayanthara conversing in Telugu with her staff, grooving to Chiranjeevi’s timeless songs during a car ride, going through her script, and even recreating one of Chiru’s iconic dialogues, all with a cheerful smile. Towards the end, director Anil Ravipudi joins her to make the news official. Mega157 marks Nayanthara’s third collaboration with Chiranjeevi, following her pivotal roles in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather.
Nayanthara’s involvement in this unique promo, a rare sight in itself, highlights Anil Ravipudi’s creative vision. He has crafted a distinctive role for her, one that’s set to be both refreshing and unforgettable. Mega157 is being geared up for a Sankranthi 2026 release, and the director once again confirmed it in the latest promo using the iconic Megastar dialogue.
