Chanakya is a film that Gopichand had pinned a lot of hopes so that he can bring back his career on track.
But sadly, the film is struggling at the box office. Even the festival season has not helped the film as the collections have come down drastically.
The presence of other big films also created a problem for Chanakya which is an action entertainer. Thiru directed this film which had Mehreen as the female lead.
