Peddi is the next major project of Global Star Ram Charan, directed by the acclaimed Sukumar. The pan-Indian film is a rural sports drama with Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead.
Ram Charan has resumed shooting in Hyderabad, where the current schedule features Mirzapur fame Divyenndu Sharma. Key scenes, including a fight scene, involving both actors will be filmed on an elaborate village set.
The team recently shared photos from the shoot, including moments with director Buchi Babu Sana, Ram Charan, and Divyendhu Sharma. These images have gone viral on social media.
The film also stars Shivarajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Satya in important roles. Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi will feature music composed by the legendary A. R. Rahman. The film is set to release on March 27, 2026.
