A few days back, news broke out that producer C Kalyan has bought the dubbing rights of Rajinikanth’s Petta and will release it in the two Telugu states.

Now, from the past one day, there were also rumors that he has forced the makers of Petta to postpone their Telugu release from Sankranthi to another date because of severe competition from Telugu movies.

So, taking things in hand, C Kalyan has now cleared in a statement that he has no idea about the rights and did not have talks with the makers of Petta.

Petta is directed by Karthick Subbaraj. Anirudh scores the music.
