The ongoing lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the Telugu film industry bigtime. Release plans of several low, medium and big budget movies have gone haywire due to the uncertainty.
Meanwhile, there has been a lot of buzz about several medium budget movies skipping a theatrical release and instead premiere straight on OTT platforms. As per the latest buzz, young hero Raj Tarun and Malavika Nair’s upcoming romantic entertainer, Orey Bujjiga, is the first Tollywood film to skip its theatrical release and premiere on an OTT platform directly. The film is directed by Vijay Kumar Konda.
Apparently, the trend will continue for a few weeks and a few more prominent movies will also follow suit in & the coming days. Well, let’s wait for the official announcement.
