Youth favorite Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, was supposed to hit the big screens on May 30. However, the latest update reveals that the action drama was postponed to July 4. Apart from Kingdom, Vijay has a period film with Rahul Sankrityan and Rowdy Janardhan in his pipeline.
Rowdy Janardhan is a rural entertainer that will be directed by Ravi Kiran Kola of Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru fame. Reportedly, Veteran Telugu hero Rajasekhar has been roped in for a pivotal role in the film. It is said that Rajasekhar liked his part and has already signed on the dotted line.
He is expected to be seen throughout the movie in a powerful avatar. The senior actor was last seen in Nithiin’s Extra Ordinary Man. The pre-production works of Rowdy Janardhan are currently underway, and the movie will go on floors later this year. Dil Raju is the producer, and Rashmika is the front-runner for the female lead.
