Karthi’s gangster action drama Japan is all set to hit the big screens during Diwali 2023. Meanwhile, the buzz about the actor’s 26th film is going viral on social media. The movie is being directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy, who worked as a writer for the films Super Deluxe, Theeya Velai Seiyuunam Kumaru (Something Something in Telugu), and Maayavan (Project Z).
As per the latest buzz, Karthi is playing a cop role in this flick. Karthi has played cop roles in films like Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (Khakee in Telugu), Sardar, and Siruthai in the past. The film is done with 50% of its shoot, and a new schedule will commence very soon.
AR Rahman is composing the soundtracks. Tollywood beauty Krithi Shetty is playing the female lead opposite Karthi in this flick, which is being produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green banner. More details about the film’s supporting cast are yet to be known.
