The buzz around Ranveer Singh’s spy action thriller Dhurandhar is pretty good with the promotional assets receiving a positive response from the audience. Aditya Dhar is the director for this Bollywood film. For sometime there have been rumors that Dhurandhar will be a two part saga.
According to a recent report in Bollywood Hungama, Dhurandhar Part One will have a duration of 3 hours and 32 minutes. The censor process is currently underway, and if the news turns out to be true, Dhurandhar will be one of the longest Indian films. Recently big-ticket entertainers like Animal and Pushpa 2: The Rule have had runtimes well beyond 3 hours.
The report mentioned, “Dhurandhar tells a vast story and hence the lengthy run time. Director Aditya Dhar is an expert storyteller. Look at Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) or his productions like Article 370 (2024), Dhoom Dhaam (2025) and the recently-released Baramulla (2025). He always ensures that there’s a lot happening in his films and that the goings-on don’t feel stretched. Dhurandhar’s storytelling will be on the same lines. There would be so much happening that the audience would be gripped from start to finish.”
If Dhurandhar indeed has a run time of 212 minutes, it’ll be Bollywood’s longest film since Ashutosh Gowariker’s blockbuster romantic drama Jodhaa Akbar (2008). The Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer was 3 hours and 34 minutes long. Dhurandhar arrives in cinemas on December 5, 2025.
