Lingusamy is a well-known name in Tamil cinema, but he has been going through a rough phase lately. His previous film, The Warriorr, headlined by Ram Pothineni, was a huge disaster. However, Lingusamy recently grabbed attention by announcing a film on Mahabharata with a massive budget of Rs. 700 crores.
According to him, the movie will focus on the mythological characters Arjuna and Abhimanyu. Lingusamy plans to make Mahabharata in two parts using state-of-the-art technology. However, due to extensive pre-production work, the project appears to not take off anytime soon.
As per a Tamil media report, Lingusamy wants to do a Telugu film before commencing the prestigious Mahabharata. The report further suggests that Srikanth’s son, Roshan, will play the lead role in this Lingusamy’s Telugu film. The said project will likely be completed in a record time.
After Pelli SandaD, Roshan dedicated significant time to the sports drama Champion, produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. He has poured his blood, sweat, and tears into this project which will release this year. Roshan is also part of Mohanlal’s high-budget film Vrushabha. Will Roshan collaborate with Lingusamy? Let’s wait and see.
