Businessman Sunjay Kapur, the ex-husband of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, has passed away at the age of 53. According to media reports, the industrialist fell seriously ill while playing polo in London and could not be revived. He is said to have swallowed a bee, which caused a heart attack.
Sunjay is survived by his wife, Priya Sachdev. Actor and author Suhel Seth confirmed Sunjay’s death on social media. What makes the incident even more gut-wrenching is that just hours before his untimely death, Sunjay had expressed his condolences for the victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash on his X account.
