Vishnu Manchu’s highly anticipated mythological epic Kannappa is all set for a grand release on June 27, 2025. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film has been generating significant buzz with its high production values and compelling storytelling.
However, amid the intense promotional activities, the team has encountered a troubling setback. A hard drive containing unreleased footage from the movie has reportedly gone missing, raising serious concerns.
According to reports, the hard drive was delivered by the Mumbai-based VFX company to the Kannappa production office. It is alleged that Raghu received the drive and then handed it over to a person named Charita, who has since gone missing, complicating the situation further.
In response, executive producer Vijay Kumar has filed a complaint, and an investigation is currently underway. While the production and promotions continue to move forward smoothly, this unexpected incident has cast a shadow over the team. Industry insiders and fans alike are eagerly awaiting updates on the unfolding situation.
